Motorcycle Headphones How Unsafe Is It To Wear Headphones While Riding A Motorcycle?

How unsafe is it to wear headphones while riding a motorcycle? - motorcycle headphones

I wonder how dangerous to wear a helmet while driving a motorcycle? Sometimes on long walks and I hear music, I try to do when I hit the streets in the country and not in heavy traffic or something, but I think it is probably safer without them.

Another thing, I saw someone on the type of earbuds for the purchase of a bicycle to ask. If you are really earplugs to ride completely separate from the noise, I can not imagine the headphones are even more dangerous.

Earplugs can be very useful to protect the long-term hearing loss. The headphones are not dangerous if used at an appropriate level.

I always have a headset connected to my FLH Ultra and often wear ear plugs to my other bikes, especially over long distances. While you can hear the roar of traffic around the two ear plugs and headphones completely safe.

In fact, some helmets are so loud that the noise from traffic and wear earplugs really need to hear the cars around him.

Can you imagine evil.

Not that I have to play as a student of industrial hygiene and safety drum has taken a course or two, but the noise is the headphones are not made to the noise at frequencies that do not listen to isolate necessity.

Some earplugs are voted to eliminate "noise" and a headphone / headset.

Could not be reached easily on an iPod while driving in any way, shape or form.

But are you free to enjoy themselves and not to hinder your hearing as you want.
